Bus Tour June 5, 2011
From the comfort of a touring bus, learn about Loveland's first pioneers who traveled trails established by Native Americans and frontiersmen into the Big Thompson Valley and beyond. From Mariano Medina's Crossing, to Old St. Louis, to Timberlane Farm, to present day Loveland, and locations that tell the details in between, the story of how we got here is fascinating and entertaining. Help Loveland Historical Society in their efforts to preserve our local history. Depart from the Loveland Museum & Gallery, 5th St. and Lincoln Ave.., 9am June 5, return at 3pm. Bring your picnic lunch and a folding chair. LHS members $38, guests $46. Bus seating will be on a first-come first-served basis. Reservations will be taken through June 2; contact 970-290-0169 or sdanhau@yahoo.com.
Vintage Base Ball Game June 26, 2011

Come be regaled, amazed, and throughly entertained by the gentlemen of the Colorado Vintage Base Ball Association dressed in uniforms and playing America's game by rules of the late 19th century. Suggested donation: LHS members $3, guests $5, kids under 14 free. A food vendor will be on hand to satisfy your palate. For more information contact 970-290-0169. Want to play?!!?
