Welcome

The Loveland Historical Society is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation administered by volunteer members of the community. We support historic education and preservation of Loveland and the Big Thompson Valley by sponsoring educational programs, serving as a focal point for the community’s historical interests and activities, and supporting special projects of the Loveland Museum/Gallery.

In addition to our own efforts we also support community groups that share our passion for history, including the Downtown Loveland Association, Loveland Historic Preservation Commission, Novo Restoration, Inc., and the Stone Age Fair. The Loveland Historical Society also partners with other regional Historical Societies and museums.

Volunteer. Connect with Others

One of the better-known benefits of volunteering is the impact on the community. Volunteers are the glue that holds the city of Loveland together. Volunteering in your own home town allows you to connect with your community and make it a better place.
